We’ve been told by the federal government, the media, and so-called “experts” that climate change is an urgent crisis that requires us to shut down our industries, cripple our economy, and sacrifice our livelihoods. But the Wildrose Loyalty Coalition is here to tell you something different: Don’t buy it! What’s really going on here is an attack on Alberta. These climate change measures are nothing more than a smokescreen, a tool designed by the federal government and their globalist allies to weaken our economy and make us dependent. They want to cripple Alberta’s energy sector, the very backbone of our prosperity. They want to raise our energy prices, hurt our workers, and control how we live—all while claiming it’s for the “greater good.”

Let’s get something straight, If Canada didn’t exist, if Alberta didn’t exist, it would make next to no difference in the global emissions picture. Alberta’s carbon emissions are a drop in the ocean. We’re a province of a few million people in a world of nearly 8 billion! Our entire country contributes less than 2% of the world’s carbon emissions. China, India, and the United States are the largest emitters by far, but you don’t see them shutting down their industries the way they’re trying to force us to.

So why is Ottawa targeting Alberta? Because this is about control. It’s about raising energy prices artificially, so they can benefit their cronies in the green energy and corporate sectors, all while the global elites line their pockets. Now, I’m not the only one saying this. Dr. Richard Lindzen, a world-renowned climate scientist, has been telling us for years that the panic over climate change is overblown. He calls it “political theater”—an excuse for governments to expand their power and take away our freedoms. He argues that the climate system is too complex, too poorly understood for these alarmist predictions to be taken seriously. Yet the media doesn’t want you to hear voices like his because it doesn’t fit their narrative.

Dr. Lindzen has pointed out that the models they use to predict catastrophic climate change are deeply flawed. They rely on assumptions that don’t reflect reality, and they ignore natural variability in the climate. The truth is, carbon dioxide is not a pollutant—it’s a vital component of life on Earth! Plants need CO2 to survive. In fact, as CO2 levels have increased, studies have shown that the Earth has actually become greener.

Don’t believe me? Take it from NASA. A study from NASA found that the Earth has seen an increase in vegetative cover due to rising CO2 levels. That’s right—the planet has more greenery now than it did a few decades ago. CO2 is fertilizing the world’s plant life, helping crops grow, and expanding forests. But they won’t tell you that in the media, will they? What they also won’t tell you is that these climate policies are meant to destroy Alberta’s economy. When they talk about carbon taxes and shutting down pipelines, what they’re really doing is attacking the backbone of our province. Our oil and gas industry is the lifeblood of Alberta. It provides jobs for thousands of men and women. It keeps our towns and cities thriving. But the federal government wants to strangle this industry with endless regulations and taxes. 

They want to make it impossible for us to compete. Why? Because they know that Alberta is strong when we control our own resources. And a strong Alberta is a threat to their globalist agenda. They’re not trying to stop climate change. They’re trying to stop us.

Climate policies that raise energy prices, destroy jobs, and weaken Alberta’s economy do nothing to help the planet. What they do is hurt you, your family, and your future. They make life harder for working people. They drive up the cost of everything—from fuel to food to heating your home. And who benefits? The corporate elites, the green energy moguls, and the global bureaucrats who don’t care about Alberta’s families.

Let’s be clear, climate change is being used as a tool to justify a massive power grab. They want to dictate what kind of car you can drive, how much energy you can use, and how you can live your life. All the while, the real polluters—countries like China and India—get a free pass. The elites don’t want to solve climate change. They want to control you, and they’re using climate change to do it.

Here’s the thing, Albertans: We don’t need to play their game. We can reject their fear-mongering. We can stand up for our industry, our workers, and our freedoms. We don’t need to destroy our economy to chase some globalist fantasy about “saving the planet.” Alberta has the resources, the ingenuity, and the spirit to lead the world in energy production—real energy, not the phony green solutions that only benefit the rich. Don’t let them scare you. Don’t let them tell you that you have to choose between your job and the environment. The truth is, we can have both. We can use our resources responsibly while protecting Alberta’s prosperity. We can stand up to the federal government’s climate tyranny and show the world that Alberta will not be broken!
